The Ranch Hafnersholt

The Ranch „Hafnersholt“ Hafnersholt is the name of a stud farm which is situated in the Allgäu and was built up by the Ochsenreiters. Angelika and Rolf bought the farm on annuity basis in 1976, because by then the couple, who earns a living by pottery, was at the age of 21 or rather 23. Silvia was born in the same year and it was her being passionate about horses that brought the first Icelandic horses to Mothen. The farm extends over more than 30 hectare real estate, contains a 200-metre oval riding arena, a 150-metre distance for flying pace, a lungeing corral and a dressage arena 20/40 m. The infrastructure also contains „Augusta“, a 15-metre long ship that once was used on the Lake of Constance and that edges the oval riding arena used as a saloon. |
